Question: 2) Do we also need to keep resubmitting the XML sitemap to Googe, or just let them find it – even with new content?
Answer: You should change your XML sitemap as frequently as your content changes in major ways. There isn’t really a need to resubmit it, once Google gets it in Webmaster tools – because it will ‘figure out’ how frequently you update and come back.
That said, Google prefers sites that updated FREQUENTLY. So frequent updates are a GOOD THING.
