Question: How many keywords/AdWords should you use?
Answer: This is a hard question. In a nutshell, landing pages should focus on one SPECIFIC keyword phrase. Check out the geico.com website, one of my SEO favorites, and see how the landing pages are laser-focused on keyword families / phrases.
The home page is more complex, and should be used as a gateway to the landing pages, plus have the company’s most important keywords. We cover this in page tags and in website structure.
