Question: How do you handle searches on acronyms that have other meanings than that of your product?
Answer: Do your target searches, and if there is a lot of keyword confusion around the acronym. Think like your searcher. Would he/she have to refine the search? If so, how? Then, optimize not just for the acronym but for the ‘helper’ words.
Think like your customer – always, and do their searches. So if there are ambiguities, you will catch them.
