Question: Can you use “tip” articles as a news releases?
Answer: Yes, your can issue news about just about anything. You can also use ‘article syndication’ in this fashion. I am not a huge fan of article syndication because it is a lot of work, vs. news, and there isn’t a systematic system of pulling this content.
I have also had articles ‘stolen’ from syndication, so my hard work at generating original content is then taken by others. I prefer news. But, you can post articles to your own website, and then use news to alert Google to them, and get those articles prominently indexed.
In that sense, you can use article syndication as it were with your own website as the centerpiece, and news syndication as your method of promotion.
