Question: Do you have a limit to the number of words in title ta
Answer: Yes, the TITLE tag needs to be roughly less than 7-10 words; about 66 characters. That said, Google DOES seem to index BEYOND the truncated version that appears on the Google search results.
So, less than 7-10 words / less than about 80 characters, with the MOST IMPORTANT words on the LEFT. Also remember that it isn’t just about having the keywords in the TITLE tag – this tag controls your APPEARANCE on Google, so make it PITHY, FUN, EXCITING – something that a potential customer would want to click on.
And, of course, it is the MOST IMPORTANT tag on any page – about 50% of the ON PAGE value – so you MUST get it right.
