Question: When we make the changes we learn in this class how long will it take to see the changes on Google?
Answer: and one that is frequently asked. Here’s the deal. Google is reputation based. So adding NEW content frequently, blogging FREQUENTLY, issuing NEWS frequently, syndicating news FREQUENTLY, and getting it to be syndicated… TRAINS Google that your site is updated FREQUENTLY.
Then, Google will come back, and you can very quickly get reindexed. If, however, you have trained Google that you do NOT update frequently, then this can take a long time. Many sites sit stale for weeks or months; Google figures this out, and stops returning.
If that is the case, then you have to RETRAIN Google by issuing news, blogging, posting frequent content, using Webmaster tools, etc. – things that we explain later in the course. Once you RETRAIN Google, then it can be pretty quick.
Finally, do your searches and click on the CACHE link in the Google results – that will tell you your current status.
