Question: We have been solicited to use Google Boost to market our website on Google places. Do you think this is a more effective than Google AdWords?
Answer: Google Boost is an add-on to Google Tags. Basically, it elevates your listing (sometimes) as if it were an AdWords ad. Google is trying to make it simple for advertising. I think IF you have a business that has a local component, both Google Boost and Google Tags are very much worth trying. Both are very new.
That said, I am ALWAYS a believer in getting everything you can for FREE, first, and then turning to your AdWords / advertising venues. Google is happy to take all your money rather than explain, in detail, how to get presence for free on Google.
