Question: My keyword research is showing that many searches are by brand name. Is it appropriate to use competitors brand name in my keywords? If so, how
Answer: Absolutely. For SEO purposes, your competitor names and products can be a great keyword strategy. Many customers search for ‘Review + Competitor’ when they are looking to investigate a potential competitor. So you can optimize on the competitor name plus review, and write copy such as a head-to-head comparisong of your products and theirs.
In that way, you may ‘snag’ a customer from a competitor, or at least get them to ‘take a look at you.’
