Question: What does ‘Google is web 2.0’ mean?
Answer: Web 2.0 refers to the ‘Social Media’ web. Web 1.0 was the first wave of the Web, and meant that the website ‘broadcast’ and you and I just read it. There was no interactivity. The birth of sites like Facebook, or Yelp, meant that consumers could ‘talk back’ to the website owner, and also ‘talk with each other.’ So Web 2.0 is all about ‘conversation’ and ‘relationships.’ It is another word for Social Media.
