Question: How does Alexa rate? Has it kind of gone by the wayside because it’s based on how many people have it loaded?
Answer: Alexa isn’t important at all for SEO. It is important as a way to measure web traffic and rank for other website. Not particularly accurate, but it and sites like compete.com do offer some visibility into other’s traffic.
For SEO purposes, this isn’t very important, however.
