Question: I have 3 domains for my website because I go through a service. would it be better to consolidate to 1 domain?
Answer: Domains are important to SEO in the sense that domains that contain your target keywords will outperform others, all things being equal.
If you have business units tha tightly focus on product / keyword areas, then separate domains can help. If you do not, then it is probably better to consolidate your efforts into one domain. There are also management issues – it is harder to manage multiple domains.
I generally lean towards fewer domains and more robust content.
