Question: I am a Real Estate broker and have a template site that I can add content. Do I need to have a custom site? And do you have to be a web back ground to make my site effective? How much time per week do you think I would need to invest
Answer: You can use many template sites effectively with just a few tweaks to the page tag structure. You do need access to the HTML base to succeed at SEO, no question.
For most businesses, the first step is a major SEO overhaul of their websites. That can take some time. Beyond that, I think 3-4 hours per week is plenty for a small company to revamp the website, blog a bit, create some news, etc. It’s like physical fitness: Small efforts made daily will outperform massive efforts made once a year.
