Question: We’re clearly focused on Google. Is it fair to assume that what works on Google will work equally well on Yahoo, Bing, Ask, etc.
Answer: The issue here is 1) Google is the huge monopoly in search, with by many metrics a greater than 70% market share of search. I think it is actually even larger than that – in our own metrics, Google has a 90% or more share of inbound searches to the JM Internet Group and eg3.com. So in that sense, focus on Google because it is clearly the most important engine BY FAR.
Secondly, what will work for Google will work for the others. They aren’t very different. The differences are small and if you do the right SEO strategies you will succeed across them all.
