Question: How do you get the press release in HTML? Do you have know HTML code to do this? Is there a convenient conversion program that can change a PDF to HTML?
Answer: Of coures, for most purposes, you will start with a Word document or something, and then convert from there to HTML. It is better to start in this way, and end up with ‘clean’ HTML that follows SEO best practices, namely a good TITLE tag, META DESCRIPTION tag, etc.
That said, there are a few Adobe utilities that will convert PDF into HTML. Here is one from Adobe, http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/access_onlinetools.html. And here is a link to a Google search, http://bit.ly/8XQW0X. Another trick is to just copy and paste the text from an Adobe PDF document into your HTML editor. You will have to reformat, but you do not have to retype everything.
