Question: What is a good average number of visits to a small business website in 1 month?
Answer: There really isn’t a good answer here. Everything depends on your industry and how searchers act in that industry. What I do recommend is to ‘get started’ and then look at the keyword search volumes for your target searches. Then be sure to install Google Analytics and watch your traffic.
Our tech website (eg3.com) is nearly 16 years old, founded in 1994, and runs about 25,000 visits per month according to Analytics. Our new SEO website is just 9 months old but runs nearly 10,000 visits per month. But the two industries are so different I can’t really say what that truly means!
