Question: My question is in regard to using Firefox. Are you saying we need to switch completely from Internet Explorer over to Firefox, or is there a way to only use Firefox when working on the Google SEO projects? The reason I ask is because we have to use IE in order to run some of our real estate software. I’m not sure if some of it will run on Firefox.
Answer: For SEO purposes – exploring other websites, viewing source, and using certain tools such as Rank Checker, Firefox is superior. I especially like its view source features. CTRL+F and Highlight all occurrences of a word.
For all other purposes such as your normal browsing, etc, you can run Internet Explorer. BOTH programs can co-exist on your same computer. Just set IE to your ‘default browser’ and run Firefox when you are working on SEO. So you don’t really have to choose – you can run both. I do (and I also run Chrome the Google Browser).
