Question: I don’t have a news tab but I do have a Blog, can I do news and get the credit
Answer: Blogs are more informal, and more opinionated. News is more formal. Each news release needs to have its own web page, its own SEO title, tags, etc. And you can syndicate news through the free services.
So combining the two is not recommended. Use blogs for short items, opinions, more casual sorts of content. Use news for more formal content, and you can syndicate it so others will ‘carry’ your news.
