Question: We are a recruting/staffing agency. I have noticed that some of the jobs we have posted have been tweeted by someone. How/why is this happening?
Answer: Although there isn’t an official application that will allow you to update Twitter every time your blog or website has an update, there a free application called Twitterfeed specifically for posting an automatic update to Twitter every time your blog updates. Being Tweeted is a good thing!
And when you use news syndication services, your news goes out to newspapers, blogs, and even Tweeters. Some of these are real people and some are Tweetbots, and the Tweetbots will pick up your news and tweet your URLs.
So there are lots of ways that syndicated content can get Tweeted – whether by real people or by Tweetbots.
