Question: On the keyword tool of Google AdWords you discusse cost + the bargraph but not the Global Search quantities. Are these quantities important?
Answer: The primary Google keyword tool gives us insight on several key variables. The most important are 1) the global search volume, 2) the average CPC, and 3) the advertiser competition (in that order).
Global search volume gives you insight into the raw number of searches worldwide. CPC gives you insight into what vendor / competitors are willing to bid for the keyword (value). And advertiser competition gives you insight into how many companies are interested in the keyword.
