Question: Does the domain name itself matter to Google relative to keywords?
Answer: Absolutely. Domains do have a big impact on Google rank / SEO. For a target keywords search, say, ‘Reverse Mortage,’ go and do the search on Google. You will see that the top ranked pages almost all have the term in their TITLE tag, on their HOME PAGE, and many of them contain the search terms in their domains.
So if you have a tightly focused company it definitely is to your advantage to have a domain with your target keyword in it.
