Question: Can the PPC pages contain the same content as content as the landing pages so it is transparent to the customer that they have landed on the a PPC page?
Answer: Your PPC and SEO landing pages can be EXACTLY ALIKE. There are no concerns about duplicate content because you are going to exclude your PPC pages from Google by using robots.txt. The goal of segregating them like this is simply one of metrics – so you know that 100% of the traffic hitting a PPC / advertising based landing page is coming from ‘paid’ traffic.
