Question: My website already comes up on page one, mainly due to little competition. If I start improving my keywords, H1 tags, etc, will it cause me to lose my current position?
Answer: I grew up in Oklahoma… Where we say, ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.’ If you are doing No. 1 for any keyword, by all means, be very careful before changing anything! That said, look for pages that are not doing well for SEO and focus on those.
Also if you inbound clicks are poor for that keyword, you might tinker with the META DESCRIPTION tag as that will probably not change your SEO position. But be careful!
