Question: If your page is set up to have customers place a phone call, what should the goal be?
Answer: I do not recommend having ONLY a phone number as a goal for your website. For practical purposes, most web surfers are not in the mood to pick up the phone. Give them some options. Have a little box that sees, ‘Contact us for a NO OBLIGATION consultation’ and then list your phone number, and an email form. Some will pick up the phone, and many others will use the feedback form. But having a phone number only is not a great option. Make it easy, and non-threatening for them to start a conversation with you. Email / feedback forms are less intrusive than phone calls, and will outperform them as a way to generate sales leads.
