Question: I thought word order is irrelevant in searching Google… Does it matter for SEO?
Answer: Word order matters both for Google searches and for SEO. A search for ‘Bay Area Hypnotherapist’ is a different search than one for ‘Hypnotherapist Bay Area.’ 90% of the time for SEO purposes the word order isn’t a big deal… But in a very competitive search, it will matter. All things being equal the page that matches the word order will dominate.
Bottom line: Pay attention not just to your customer keywords, but also the more common order in which they put those searches!
